Synopsis

A new toy store is opening and George can’t wait. Once George gets inside, the owner thinks his antics may be bad for business. Will George’s playful nature really drive customers away, or will everyone’s favorite monkey find a clever way to save the day?

Sarah Hammond - Children's Literature

Everyone's favorite, loveable monkey is back in one of his most exciting adventures yet. In this story, George cannot wait until the new toy store opens, but, of course, when he gets there, his playful ways cause big trouble for the store owner. It isn't long, however, before George is helping the customers in a way that only he can. The illustrations in this book are just as delightful and detailed as they have been for years. No matter what age the readers are, they will still enjoy seeing what mischief George will get himself into next. This story greatly contributes to the classic love that we all have for Curious George and his pal, The Man With the Yellow Hat. 2002, Houghton Mifflin Co.,
