Synopsis
Robert Cummings' efforts to uncover information about his childhood friend, Kathleen Miller after her death, reveal aspects of her life that he never anticipated. Although the friends hadn't spoken in years, Kathleen names Robert as executor of her estate and places him on the board of a foundation established in her name. As a child growing up in rural Oklahoma, Kat was both emotionally vulnerable and ambitious. These traits led her to a successful career and compelled her to assist people in need, ultimately leading to her death. Robert, through Kat's personal effects, friends, and co-workers, discovers more than he wants to know about his childhood friend and finally realizes that it's best to leave some questions unanswered.
