About the Author: Don Troiani's paintings have appeared in numerous national collections, including the National Park Service, West Point, and the Smithsonian, and in such publications as American Heritage and Smithsonian. His earlier books include Don Troiani's Soldiers in America (0811705196), Don Troiani's Civil War (0811727157), and Don Troiani's Regiments and Uniforms of the Civil War (081170520X). He resides in Connecticut.
