The vast history of earth is revealed for the younger reader, complete with the scientific principles that led to life forms on our home planet. Humankind is such a small part of the story of Earth. The author leads the reader to understand through text, photos, and illustrations how Earth and its moon came to the present point in time. Future scenarios are presented and are definitely food for thought. There is a helpful glossary of terms plus an index.
