Synopsis

Simple, rhythmic text, and pictures that are clearly detailed and colorful entertain and teach toddlers. This third book in the 'Mighty Wheels' series presents big, strong vehicles that can build roads, tow or flatten whole cars or haul big loads.

Children's Literature

Almost all children are fascinated by big machinery, whether it is monster trucks or heavy construction equipment. The sounds, the power and the sheer size of these machines render most kids awestruck. This particular book introduces many common machines such as cranes, monster trucks and excavators, using simple text and neatly done watercolor illustrations. Though the book did not strike me as exceptional, two of my young children said with assurance that any book about big machinery is a good book. Part of the "Mighty Wheels" series. 2000, Annick Press,
