Overview

Throughout history, many of the most acclaimed novelists wrote great stories that were influenced by their Christian worldview. Never before have these writers been collected into one volume.

As the title indicates, for those who have "eyes to see" each story's underlying Christian worldview will be clear. Others will simply enjoy these stories for the unforgetable characters and unexpected plot twists.

The stories in this volume include:

  • "A Father's Story" by Andre Dubus
  • "A Good Man is Hard to Find" by Flannery O'Connor
  • "Silent Passengers" by Larry Woiwode
  • "The Blue Cross" by G. K. Chesterton
  • "The Christmas Wife" by Helen Norris
  • "The Honest Thief" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
  • "The Story of the Other Wise Men" by Henry Van Dyke
  • "What Men Live By" by Leo Tolstoy
  • "The Final Martyrs" by Shusako Endo
