Synopsis

Approximately 50 color sketches and drawings of American cars from the 1940s to the 1960s are provided in this slim volume of the Scharfs' private collection. Illustrations are of "concept" cars, interiors, exterior ornaments, specifications, and advertisements; the introduction is an essay on American car design during the period.
