About the Author, Amory Starr

Amory Starr is an activist, sociologist, and documentary filmmaker. Her first book, Naming the Enemy: Anti-Corporate Movements Confront Globalization (Zed Books, 2000), was the first systematic documentation of the emergence of the alterglobalization movement, written before Seattle. Her second book, Global Revolt, also by Zed Books, is a beginners guidebook to the movement.
