Eyes and fingers will be drawn to the textured cutouts in this cheerful board book. Simple rhyming text is paired with bright illustrations containing cutouts of various Easter objects. For example, on a page showing Easter bonnets, there is one hat cutout with shiny blue foil underneath. There are also cutouts for bunny ears, an Easter basket, tulips, and more. A nice feature is that all of the cutouts have different textures. Curious children will enjoy feeling each one. The four rhyming lines of text on each page spread deals with one aspect of Easter. The cover illustration of this book is particularly enticing; it has two cutout Easter eggs with the "plastic grass" used to pad the bottom of Easter baskets underneath.
