Children's Literature - Karen Saxe

Filled with fun little puzzles, this book will provide hours of entertainment. There are puzzles that have to do with identifying symmetries, understanding perspective, ordering events, counting, and much more. After reading this book, I was amused to find myself wondering what made the author classify some of the puzzles as 'math puzzles' instead of as 'word puzzles', or vice versa. As a mathematician, and a mathematician who believes that interesting mathematics is often found in word puzzles, I think of this as a good thing! Another in the series is Hippity Hop's Word Puzzles.
