Overview

Lesley Morland's father, Ed, has a weakness for alcohol and trouble holding down a job. So when he is offered a job as station manager in Bountiful, Kansas, the opportunity comes as a chance for a fresh start. The town is on railroad magnate Adam Benedict's proposed line to Texas.
