Features:This book covers the known causes of infertility, the evaluation of those causes, and the medical and surgical treatment options available, as well as a brief look at the laboratory science of infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and legal and ethical issues in the field. The value of this book is in the information provided for a resident or general Ob/Gyn initiating a fertility work-up. The case presentations and the algorithms are especially helpful. The only noted shortcoming is some significant redundancy of information between the chapters as a result of having multiple authors.
Assessment:This book is notable for its concise presentation and ease of reading.
