Overview
After years of doing research on and around the remains of the CSS Muscogee, the author decided to write what life on board her might have been like. The author served on a wooden vessel. Part of life onboard might have included several of the real life inventions that came to late to help the Confederacy. While the story line is fiction, all parts are historical. Exception, Davy Jones shows up to help with the Shellback initiation. The story line is a group of Southerners decide to sail the Muscogee to Brazil rather than see the Yankees burn her. The real life Confederados play a part.Book Details
