Overview
The 300 photographs, many not previously published, include portraits of Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Glenn Miller, and a host of people whose names are not now widely known. Most were taken in New York City by Danish jazz figure Timme Rosenkrantz, who lived there at various times before, during, and after World War II.
