K-Gr 3-Designed for transitional readers, the format in these books resembles a math workbook page, with a word problem on the right of each spread and a color photograph illustrating it on the left. The main difference is that these titles contain only examples and no practice sheets. The texts are easy to understand and the photographs of money do give clues to the solutions. While some educators and parents may find these useful titles most children will not pick them up on their own.-Pamela K.
