Will it be a hermit crab or a goldfish? Follow the students as they go through a voting process with their teacher to select a class pet. They present the issues, become informed, and discuss the pros and cons about two different pets before they receive their ballot to vote. Find out how they determine their class pet and use the concept of voting to make some decisions together. Then, briefly read about how adults vote.
