There are countless books about ancient Greece currently available. Is there a reason to add this book to your collection? The answer is probably "no" since it is unoriginal in approach, visually undistinguished and occasionally confusing. Each chapter is introduced by 2 or 3 sentences, followed by several sub-heads, sidebars and illustrations. An effort to present as much information as possible results in pages crammed with too much information. Visual excitement becomes mental confusion.
