Some full-page black-and-white photographs of victims, helping agencies and even a perpetrator are included. Hyde includes many references to the sexual abuse, child pornography and prostitution as well as the violence which many of the victims suffer. A comprehensive list of hot lines and action agencies follows the text. While the book has a drab, dreary appearance, the timeliness of the subject may draw in readers.
