Nana, Papa, Grandma, Grandpa, Grandmother, Grandfather. All of these names, and many more can be used to describe your parents' mothers or fathers. This early reader with text in a large font written in simple words, is designed so that young children will be able to read and sound out the words. The book's subject and design is appropriate for younger children as well. Large photographs of grandchildren with their grandparents show ethnic as well as subject diversity. The book shows what grandparents do with their grandchildren. There is even one section where grandchildren look at pictures of their deceased grandparents. Most children will be able to identify with at least one scenario in the book.
