About the Author, Christi Daugherty

After working for years as an investigative newspaper reporter, Christi Daugherty decided to leave that gritty life behind in 2000 and see the world—or at least Europe. Leaving her long-time home in New Orleans, she moved to England, which she uses as a base for writing and editing travel guidebooks for publishers around the world. Her work has also appeared in the Dallas Morning News, the Washington Post, and the Financial Times. She is currently writing Frommer’s Ireland 2006.
