About the Author, Shirley Harrison

Shirley Harrison has wide professional experience in marketing and public relations, as a director, and independent consultant and trainer. She divides her time between lecturing, consultancy and writing. She has a special interest in crisis public relations and is the author of Disasters and the Media: Managing Crisis Communications (1999). She is an active member of the Institute of Public Relations.
