Description: This book was derived form the two-volume text, Essentials of Skeletal Radiology, by same authors. What it does is essentially distill the clinical information presented in over 2,000 pages of the main text to make it much easier to locate clinical information.
Purpose: It is intended to help students and doctors learn an orderly organization and approach to skeletal radiology and to help foster recognition of the many kinds of problems that can be diagnosed by skeletal radiology.
Audience: This book is designed for anyone involved in studying or using skeletal radiology: chiropractors, osteopaths, allopathic physicians.
Features: It is organized in an outline format, derived from the chapter organization of the older text.
Assessment: This is truly a wonderful undertaking. It makes it easier for the reader to follow the flow of clinical information from the main text, but focuses solely upon the clinical information. It stresses key concepts, and provides a series of self-assessment examinations to guide the reader to better understanding. This book is very well done.
