Overview

With the beloved dogs from P. D. Eastman's classic, Go, Dog. Go!, toddlers can explore the world of color in this interactive adaptation of the original book.
Flaps, wheels, and slide tabs let children make a white dog get black spots, the traffic light change from red to green, and dogs of all colors zoom around in cars. Simple and sturdy interactive elements will make this new format a hit with parents and little ones alike!

Synopsis

P. D. Eastman was one of the stars of the Beginner Books line with beloved classics like Are You My Mother?; Go, Dog. Go!; The Best Nest; and more!

Kathleen Karr - Children's Literature

P.D. Eastman's 1961 classic, Go, Dog. Go —originally a "Beginner Book"—has been reincarnated as an interactive book in the "Bright and Early Playtime" line. Presumably it is still all in the family since Peter Anthony Eastman is credited with new illustrations. Although this edition has been spiffed up with flaps and wheels and pullout tabs, not to mention one modest pop-up, it is still the same simple story about color. Black dogs, white dogs, blue dogs, and green dogs frolic with pink dogs and purple dogs (through the help of a transparency sheet). Best of all, Eastman's signature little green bird also makes an appearance. The binding and pages are sturdy enough for another generation or two of toddlers to enjoy Eastman's exuberance. 2004, Random House, Ages 2 to 5.
