About the Author, Maria Villegas

María Villegas is a Colombian chef who has a degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris as well as a degree in restaurant administration and management from Parson's University in New York. She is the author of A la Carte and her work has earned her the French Gourmand World Cookbook Award. Claudia Uribe is the photographer of A la Carte and Gardens of Colombia.
