The standardized format includes: a brief introduction to the subject; subject headings; basic and related texts; handbooks, dictionaries, and encyclopedias; bibliographies; abstracting and indexing services, including online databases; government documents and reports; conference proceedings; technical reports; journal articles; and associations, research centers, and clearinghouses.
