About the Author, David Plotkin

About the Authors Author and publishing consultant Lisa A. Bucki has written or coauthored more than 15 titles during more than eight years in the computer book industry. She has also contributed chapters covering numerous computer subjects such as online communications, presentation graphics, multimedia, and more for other books in addition to training users and managing more than 100 book projects for a number of publishers. Elaine Marmel is President of Marmel Enterprises, Inc., an organization that specializes in technical writing and software training. Elaine spends most of her time writing and has authored and coauthored more than 25 books about software products. In addition, Elaine is a contributing editor to Inside Peachtree for Windows and Inside QuickBooks for Windows, monthly magazines. David Plotkin is a Senior Data Administrator for Longs Drug Stores in Walnut Creek, California. He designs computer systems, specializing in databases and database systems. He has written several books on computers and computer software, and has contributed numerous chapters to other books.
