Lotus has made key improvements for the Millennium Edition that will build their customer base. These include: - Heavily advertised IBM Via-Voice technology now integrated into WordPro and 1-2-3 - SmartSuite is Year 2000 ready - Addition of Lotus FastSite internet and intranet document publisher as part of the suite, not an additional separate purchase like FrontPage is to Office - XML compliant HTML files ease document sharing - 1-2-3 query interfaces for SAP R/3, Peoplesoft, and other SQL and PC databases - Improved installation and deployment features to ease corporate rollout - International sales should improve as well thanks to international language support in Via-Voice.
