This "Exploring Science and Medical Discoveries" book is a collection of articles from several authors covering a multitude of topics on space exploration, from the precursors of traveling into space to the future of space tourism and astroenvironmentalism. The book is divided into four chapters detailing early space exploration, the consequences and successes of sending humans into space, unmanned space missions, and concluding with today's controversies on the topic. Each chapter contains four to seven articles focusing on a different topic within the subject presented in the chapter. Although much of the book is dense with text, there are several bulleted lists and timelines that help readers retain a clear understanding of information presented. There is an emphasis in the book on how advances in space exploration have affected the world, the environment, and the country. This book would make a great contribution to the classroom, not only as a reference, but also for encouraging discussions and debates.
