About the Author, Conger

Jay A. Conger is associate professor of organizational behavior at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Rated by Business Week as one of the ten most sought-after management school professors for corporate education programs, he consults to private and nonprofit organizations worldwide. He is author of Learning to Lead (1992), The Charismatic Leader (1989), and Charismatic Leadership (1988, with R.N. Kanungo and Associates, 1988), all from Jossey-Bass.
