Cheney's twin, Dr. Rainey Reynolds, is a card-carrying member of the "It's all about me society." Then he meets Josephine Yaa Amoah, an exchange student from Ghana, Africa, who informs him, "I'm not the woman who broke your heart; therefore, I'm not the one responsible for mending it." Soon, he's suffering from a spiritual condition he can't diagnose. God has the remedy; the only setback is Rainey has too much pride to ask for the prescription.
Cheney's husband, Parke K. Jamieson VI, is a descendant of a royal African tribe. He almost gave up hope for another generation because of Cheney's inability to have a baby. His faith is tested after learning of an illegitimate son. His roadblock is the child was recently adopted. Now, the legal system says he's too late to gain custody, but God proves He is above the law.
