About the Author, Frank H. T. Rhodes

FRANK H.T. RHODES retired from the presidency of Cornell University in 1995 after serving for 18 years. Before his appointment at Cornell, he was successively professor of geology, dean of the College of Literature, Science and the Arts, and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Michigan.
