Herb Perez, the 1992 Olympic gold medalist, a seven-time national champion and a member of the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame, is one of the first Americans to win a gold medal in an Olympic taekwondo competition. Now focusing his attention on writing, lecturing and teaching, Perez uses his martial arts expertise and competition experience to help other taekwondo students prepare for competition.
