About the Author, John C. Peterson

John C. Peterson is a retired Professor of Mathematics at Chattanooga State Technical Community College. He was a Vice President of the American Mathematical Association for Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC). He was also co-Project Director of the AMATYC project on Mathematics for the Emerging Technologies funded by the National Science Foundation and author of the project report: A Vision: Mathematics for the Emerging Technologies.
