This adaptation of a familiar prayer for young children has a padded cover and thin cardboard pages. The bear on the cover continues as the largest animal and main character. The page with "Thank you for my family," shows the bear, a pig, a dog, a cat, and a mouse. The imaginative picture with "Thank you for the world so sweet," shows a world centered on Africa with the animals running over the top rim. One page has the animals tucked in while the bear kneels beside the bed. Each square of their quilt displays a different design. The colorful endpapers are dotted with little birds and flowers.
