This version of one of the most well known nursery rhymes closely follows our adventuresome, little eight-legged friend on his journey up the formidable waterspout. This time, however, (according to the humorous illustrations) he has a little help from a very special friend. Bright, rainbow colors literally fill the pages to make the itsy bitsy spider seem attractive, bigger than life and full of character. This would be an excellent book to share with toddlers just learning nursery rhymes.
