Synopsis
Here's a funny, scary picture storybook that features full-page color illustrations rendered in an assortment of spooky, shadowy colors. It also has lift-the-flap features, one of them showing the vampire Count as he emerges from his coffin. Among the Count's friends are Bertie Bones, Winnie the Witch, the Werewolf and the Mummy—and they've all had a terrible day's sleep in their haunted house. They were kept awake by a mysterious and horrible sound emanating from some spooky corner of the house. What can it be? They go off to investigate, and at last they make a hair-raising discovery.
