Read while driving through the farmland of Ohio and Indiana, this book seemed right on target. Tractors come in various colors, although this one is green. Like most tractors which don't run on paved roads, it has a big tires to get through muck, mud and fields. This board book is one in the "Usborne Noisy Touchy Feely" series, so not only are there textures to touch on the pages, but there is a button to push to hear the sound of the tractor. I can assure you that it is quite realistic. This farmer and his tractor can also pull a trailer with hay to take to the animals in the fields. The tractor has bright, sparkly headlights so the farmer can drive it even after nightfall comes. This is a book that might drive caregivers and parents nuts, but it is one that kids will love.
