About the Author, Ian McLean


Ian McLean has over 30 years experience in industry, commerce, and education; starting his career as an electronics engineer before going into distance learning, and then into education as a university lecturer. His association with computers goes even further back, starting at the age of eleven. He currently runs his own consultancy company, and is an MCSE + I as well as an MCT. Ian has written eleven books on computing, and even more articles than he can possibly remember.
