Jam-packed with interesting trivia and complete demonstrations, it includes everything from buying a yo-yo and replacing the string to mastering Skin the Cat and synchronized routines. The author begins with simple tricks like Sleeper and Walk the Dog and proceeds to old favorites like Around the World and Rock the Baby. For the more proficient, he offers 20 tricks with catchy titles like Slurping Spaghetti, Monkey on a String, and Skyrocket, along with many hints about sound effects and adding a touch of drama. The easy-to-follow directions are clearly illustrated with simple black-and-white line drawings.
