Synopsis

Hilarious and successful series of cheeky lift-the-flap books are now available in mini.

Cheetah babies are . . . lift the flap . . . born to run. Meerkat babies . . . lift the flap . . . soak up the sun. Exploring the relationship between a baby animal and its species’ characteristics, this little book is a loving and unconventional look at baby animals of all shapes and sizes, with an affectionate twist at the end!

Publishers Weekly

Fold-down tabs expose the silly side of very young wild animals in this concept book that follows Bums, Tails and other titles in the series. “Meerkat babies” are revealed to be lounging in sunbathing attire on a beach blanket, as they “soak up the sun,” while “crocodile babies... know how to bite” (onto pacifiers). And “Fox babies... stay up all night” shaking maracas and a tambourine. The flaps add a peek-a-boo dimension that children should enjoy, as well as enhance the bright colors and big personalities of the featured animal babies. Ages 2–5. (July)
