Nick and Sarah both want to play with the blocks. By cooperating, they make a plan and work together to build something neither of them could build alone. Cooperation made the exploration of the USA possible when Lewis and Clark started their long journey. People in the community cooperate to make the city a nice place to live. Activities are included that will reinforce this lesson. It is often difficult for adults to know if they are teaching young children enough about the values of life, and respect for other people.
