John J. Hoover is a senior research associate and adjunct faculty in multicultural special education in the school of education at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has worked as an educational consultant, a trainer or evaluator for numerous multicultural special education programs, and a K-12 teacher in classrooms of diverse learners with learning and behavior disorders. John is the author or co-author of more than 60 publications, including Methods for Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Exceptional Learners (Merrill Education) and Curriculum Adaptations for Students with Learning and Behavior Problems (Pro-Ed).
