Overview
The 9/11/01 attacks catapulted the workplace support role of employee assistance professionals into the spotlight. Three dozen papers cover the historical roots of EA programs and factors relating to their organizational, client, program planning and evaluation, and professional development contexts. Also addressed are special issues (e.g., critical incident stress, misuse of cyberspace); profession-specific programs; and future directions.
