A comprehensive illustration of forensic pathology--and, to a lesser extent, clinical forensic medicine--by way of the experience of members of the British Association in Forensic Medicine (as complemented by overseas contributions that illustrate conditions less commonly seen in the UK). The lesions illustrated (in 730 color photos) are generally those most commonly seen (with some rare examples included), with particular emphasis on the lessons to be learned in the practice of forensic pathology. The text has been kept deliberately short to allow the pictures to tell their own story. The legends, however, are substantial, enabling the illustrations to function as mini-lessons. Annotation c.
