The name has changed a number of times, but by 1946, it settled on Jaguar. The XK series, introduced in 1948, is the most popular model. It is attractive and powerful. The bodyweight is much lighter than other cars because it is made out of aluminum. A unique feature of the Jaguar is the governor, a device that keeps the car from going more than 155 miles per hour.
