Children's Literature

The lion is often referred to as the "king of the jungle." This book will teach young children how lions live in the wild. New vocabulary words will be introduced to young children as they learn about a lion pride, the prey, and what it means to stalk. The book will teach young children interesting facts, such as how often lion's drink water, how long they sleep, and how they keep themselves clean. The photographs depict several lions as they exist in their natural habitat. The photos are beautiful and show the life of a lion very close up.
