Overview

Mr. Putter and his fine cat, Tabby, volunteer to walk their neighbor’s dog. They soon discover that Zeke isn’t a dream dog after all. He might even be . . . a nightmare! “Watercolor-and-ink pictures squeeze every bit of life and humor out of the stories. Solid fare for easy-reading shelves.”—Booklist

When their neighbor Mrs. Teaberry hurts her foot, Mr. Putter and his cat Tabby agree to walk her dog for a week, not knowing what they are in for.

Synopsis

Written by established authors, this book follows the prescribed formula for all beginning readers: they have large print, simple words, plenty of space between lines, and just enough pictures to keep the reader from feeling overwhelmed by the text.
