Most animals make noise, and kids often enjoy imitating the sounds. Geese honk and coyotes howl, elks bugle, dolphins click, and frogs croak. What kind of sounds do kids make—well in this book, the little girl giggles. Some of the animals are not quite so familiar and that is a plus. The illustrations are not photographs but drawings that often have a bit of humor, such as the donkey with its eyes closed and mouth wide open letting out a big bray.
