School Library Journal

Gr 2-4These attractive series entries have easy-to-read texts with boldfaced words defined in context and in the glossaries along with pronunciations. At least half of each brief volume is comprised of full-color, full-page photos. When taken together the books provide an interesting introduction to the country, but they have little individual value beyond being browsing items. All of the information (all five titles worth) can be found in Keith Lye's Take a Trip to Mexico (Watts, 1982; o.p.). Strictly luxury items.Sandra Welzenbach, H.K.
