About the Author, Janice J. Beaty

Janice Beaty, Ph.D. is a Professor Emerita at Elmira College, and a member of: the National Association for the Education of Young Children; the National Education Association; and the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education. She has been named to the Whos Who of American Women 2006, 2007; Whos Who in America 2007, 2008; and Whos Who in American Education 1992-93, 1994-95, and 2007. Janice has authored several other publications in Early Childhood Education.
